Ah, Giona — a land of adventure, opportunity… and people with far more courage than good sense.
Situated in the eastern part of Caspena’s main continent and separated from the western lands by the Rust Mountains, Giona is a province of remarkable geographical diversity.
Snow-capped peaks rise at its centre, while the deserts of Mava and Parnass stretch across the south. Elsewhere, the farmland and pastures of Verde give way to the green valleys of Niriides and the wooded hills of Castalia.

For centuries, these roads carried merchants, pilgrims and royal messengers. Today, they are increasingly travelled by another kind of wanderer:
Heroes.

The recent restoration of the King’s Road has brought even more travellers into the province. Inns are crowded, caravans are moving again and merchants are eager to take advantage of the new age of prosperity.
Giona’s settlements each have stories of their own. Sibari and Theos both welcome travellers from the western frontier, while Centoria, nestled in a secluded valley among the mountains, proudly serves as Giona’s great centre of art, learning and culture.
Smaller villages survive far from the main roads, where news travels slowly and old superstitions are still taken very seriously...
Fortunately, you do not have to travel across the entire province to learn what is happening there! The pages of Theos Tribute bring news from across Caspena directly to your store.

Royal announcements, trade disputes, rumours from distant settlements, missing travellers and reports of unusual creatures — seemingly insignificant articles may reveal that something much larger is unfolding.
And sometimes, the people mentioned in those articles may eventually walk through your door.
So keep an eye on the headlines — the next great tale of Caspena may already be unfolding.
