Another big milestone for my solo game dev journey: yesterday I finished localizing Drop: Save the Forest into English, Italian, and French! 🇺🇸🇮🇹🇫🇷
Building the localization system for the whole game took me more than a week… but once it was in place, adding each new language took less than an hour. Me = very satisfied :’)
I started with these 3 languages because they’re the ones I speak, and I really wanted my first game to be accessible. If Final Fantasy IX hadn’t been translated into Italian, I probably wouldn’t have played it—and maybe I’d never have discovered that magical world.
Since last night, the demo is available in English, French, and Italian on Steam! Go give it a try and don’t forget to wishlist 😉
Auto-publishing the full game is coming very soon ... Stay up to date!
