Hello!
I'm asiram, the developer of Non Eternals.
Here's the September 2026 Developer Letter.
Feature development is entering its final stages, and we're working on a variety of updates, from new features to smaller improvements.
I'd like to introduce a few of the features that have been added recently!
Attack Warnings & Guard Points

Attack Warnings
This is the most impactful feature we've added recently. It was introduced to bring even more strategic depth to Control Panel Building and battles.
The familiar "attack warning" seen in many other games shows how much damage an attack will deal after a certain amount of time, and is displayed above the monster.
In many games, you can take your time to think because they are turn-based, but this game progresses in real time, so you'll need to make quick decisions!
Guard Points
The "Guard Points" feature was added alongside the attack warning feature.
You can reduce incoming damage by an amount equal to your accumulated Guard Points.
You can gain Guard Points with Ren's "Guard" skill, or add the effect to skills through Adjacent Effects.
You can also build a Control Panel that's less vulnerable to damage by arranging your UI and skills in a way that lets you accumulate more Guard Points!
UI & Skill Placement Improvements

Since this is a game where you edit your UI and skill placement, making the UI easy to see and understand is very important.
To improve this aspect, we've made the following changes:
Made it easier to see when an Adjacent Effect is active by making the gem icon more noticeable
Added animations to skills and UI elements to show the effects granted when placed in a way that activates an Adjacent Effect
Made Adjacent Effects applied to UI elements easier to identify in the UI details
UI and skill placement takes up a large part of the gameplay experience, so I think improvements like these are very important.
The Next Feature
The next major feature we'll be working on is the "Shop" feature.
This feature is also closely tied to the gameplay loop, so I'll be putting a lot of care into its development! 💪
(There may be some other features that need to be made along the way, but I'd be happy if you could keep watching the development with us!)
