It's been almost a month since launch. As we mentioned before, our focus during this time has been on reducing the game's stress level, in the hope that more players would be able to experience all the content we prepared without giving up partway through.
In the process, however, the tight tension and depth of fear that define the survival horror genre were somewhat diluted — and we've come to deeply understand that many of you found this disappointing.
That's why we've prepared a separate mode that fully delivers the experience we originally set out to create: surviving and exploring a vast, complex ship environment while evading a constant threat with extremely limited resources. It may still fall short in places, but we're finally ready to release it.
Please see the details below.
Director's Cut Mode Added
A new difficulty, Director's Cut Mode, has been added, embodying the game's original design intent. In developing this new mode, rather than simply making the game harder, we focused on fully realizing our original vision — intensified horror and a genuine drive to overcome the challenge.
In Director's Cut Mode, you start with a smaller inventory.
Navigation markers are no longer displayed. You can focus on the core thrill of finding your way as if truly exploring, under far greater tension.
Monster AI Behavior Changes
We've improved monsters so they are no longer just "easy targets to dispatch."
Grenades are no longer a universal solution — the player's attacks have been rebalanced to serve as a means of temporarily escaping danger.
The Angel monster no longer despawns from attacks (including grenades).
When the Angel monster takes enough damage, it retreats into the sea, then resumes roaming its designated area afterward.
The Angel monster no longer reacts instantly to sound — suspicion accumulates, and it begins tracking the player once a threshold is reached.
New Mid-Game Monster
A new monster has been added to the mid-game.

Soju bottles that dropped in certain sections have been removed.
The positions of some destructible objects have been adjusted.
Level Design Changes

A save point has been added to the aft cabin area on 3F.
Offering Box Item Changes

Other Bug Fixes

We will keep working to deliver an even better play experience. If you have any feedback while playing, we'd greatly appreciate it if you could leave it in the Discussions. 🙏
