Hello, rey3dev here reporting our DEMO stats during this Steam Next Fest.
First of all THANK YOU for the players who participated in Steam Next Fest, played the DEMO of my game and most importantly those who wishlisted my game.
Without further ado, here are some statistics during this Steam Next Fest.
STEAM NEXT FEST STATS
DEMO STATS
We can see that there are 408 people who played my game during this Next Fest and the game launch is 1155. By this stats we can assume that there are people who played my game more than once. I am very flattered by this data and once again a massive THANK YOU for you all. I will strive my best to develop and deliver the full game.
Before the next fest start, I lowered the difficulty of the Classic Mode to cater newbies but the ratio of failure rate is still high. I will try to further experiment on the difficulty curve for the full game so that players new to the typing game genre can progress step-by-step.
The mana usage is also not utilized properly, I will also think of ways to address this behavior.
Based on the data, most of the players uses the default [POWERCARDS] but there are some players who updated the default [POWERCARDS] selection though not popular. I will adjust the card stats for balancing.
SPECIAL WORDS
It seems the [Fast] word is still the most overlooked word type.
During this period players also prevented 556 word explosions from occurring. 98 words have exploded with 153 collateral word debris.
ENDLESS LEADERBOARD
Player "momo" still holds the number 1 spot for the DEMO Leaderboards. There are more entries that try to beat the store and as of this writing there are 90 player entries.
Challenge the leaderboards and try to beat that score.
Thanks all for this news and once again a massive THANKS for all the players who played and wishlisted my game.
Stay healthy and Happy Typing.
