This hotfix focuses on critical fixes for boss encounters, and general UI polishing. We are still actively working on optimization across all systems. Thank you for your continued feedback!
UI Improvements & Fixes
Boss Encounter Fix: Resolved a critical issue where the confirmation window appearing before a Boss encounter would disappear halfway under the screen, preventing players from accepting the challenge.
General UI Polish: Implemented various small UI fixes across the entire client to improve navigation and visual consistency.
Work in Progress: We are still deep in the pits working on general performance and UI scaling—further refinements are actively being forged.
Preparation for the personal best times and the online leaderboard (time gets kind of tracked now, however this is not final yet even if the time gets tracked already, you shouldnt be able to see it with this update but with the next one).
⚠️ Steam Deck Compatibility Warning
Not Optimized at the moment: Please be aware that Devil’s Due is NOT currently optimized for the Steam Deck yet.
Current State: The game is likely unplayable on handheld devices at this time, as critical parts of the UI may be cut off or remain invisible.
Desktop Recommended: We strongly recommend playing on a standard desktop monitor while we investigate future handheld support, with the standard UI scale.
If you dont see an update try to restart steam. ːlunar2019grinningpigː
