About the Agent
Lance Ridder never believed he was made for military service. But in his youth, he became absorbed in officers’ memoirs. Stories of soldiers from the past opened up a world of honor and brotherhood to him — a stark contrast to the poor outskirts where he grew up. As soon as he came of age, Lance fled to the army, escaping his family’s poverty.
