v1.0.0.3

Lots of changes in this release!

Grid/Pits are only for Assetto Corsa at the moment but support for other games will come in due time. It’s only very basic positioning at the moment, greater fine tuning control over the position and rotation will be included in a future update.

Terrain modification and Speed of recalculation has been improved. A lot of time has been spent making this more efficient and the new gizmo is part of that change.

Don’t forget to press F1 for help and check back on the tutorial videos later this week – I’ve got some more explaining to do.

A list of all changes:

- Improved response/feedback time when raising/lowering the terrain.
- New Triangle Subdivide using Circle tool - enables subdivision of Google Earth terrain.
- New option to toggle subdivision when performing Terrain Raise/Lower/Paint.
- New Triangle Subdivision Level setting allows for greater control over how detailed the Terrain can become.
- Subdivision of Triangles now possible with Assetto Corsa Painting (helps when getting Google data).
- Modified the Terrain Gizmo to be more efficient.
- Improved Mouse Ray to Terrain/Track bounding box calculations.
- Added Grid/Pits/Hotlap/Timing placements (press F1 for simple explanation).
- Improved Export speed.
- Export to AC now has more support with naming conventions and car positioning.
- Suspend Google eleveation requests whilst Exporting.
- Use Alpha channel of Detail Assetto Corsa Texture to influence as Specular Exponent in RTB rendering.
- Decreased time to load FBX models.
- Only the Textures folder of the Export folder is now cleared when exporting.
- After load, make sure Camera is still above ground.
- Added Option to turn off the Hiding of the Menu and Toolbox.
- FIX: A looping track failed to join correctly in some places until a recalculation was triggered.
- FIX: After opening a very large track, whilst it is still recalculating, trying to open up another track caused an error.
- FIX: Terrain Painting didn’t always trigger the recalc of tracks that use the terrain as a material.
