The latest release contains few fixes and some new features. The most visual change is the new set of icons across the toolbars – Thanks to Eric Tozer for his artistic talent.
Support for collisions with objects has been added along with the concept of Complex Objects. These contain a Parent-Child object relationship that permit additional randomness within the objects as well as support for shadow objects, collision objects and LODs. Currently there is just the one example in Yorkshire Dales, Alder3d – more will be added over time.
The official release notes:
- Update Icons - Thanks again Eric Tozer for your excellent set of icons.
- Added Complex Objects.
- Object Collision now possible using either complex objects or Collision Column.
- Normals pointed upwards for AC ksTrees.

Whilst I am working on the delivery of more code, I am looking to hire people to create XPack content. If you can produce original quality content for RTB and would like to get paid for it please contact me.
Over the coming months I am hoping to get a number of Themed XPacks produced so you can have a wider range of objects and terrain/track materials to choose from. Please feel free to give feedback about which objects and themes you would most like to see.
Enjoy!
Brendon.
