Why are we so drawn to "slow-paced" combat?
In this era of instant gratification, turn-based games are like a cup of soothing tea, allowing us to rediscover the joy of strategy through the cycle of "think-decide-act." Remember the exhilaration of defeating a boss using elemental weaknesses for the first time? That depth—requiring you to anticipate enemy actions, plan skill combinations, and even calculate resource costs—is the purest intellectual gift of video games.
Classic Elements Embedded in Our DNA
The classic leveling system: From a lowly character to a mighty general—it embodies all our fantasies of character progression.
Exploring and traversing dungeons: Every experience navigating a dungeon is a love letter from the developers to the explorers.
A Good Story Makes a Great Game
When your character raises their sword on the pixelated screen, every arc of its swing is connected to the narrative DNA embedded by the developers. As game developers, our pride lies not in code efficiency, but in the realization—perhaps late at night—that the person who can always find you, no matter where you go, is the one who truly loves you.
Independent developers are like tailors with scissors; they fear both a story that's too simplistic and one that's too heavy for players. But trust us, every hidden clue in item descriptions, every unexpected twist in NPC dialogue—these are narrative landmines we've planted, waiting to be triggered by your curiosity.
Thank you again to all the players and friends who supported the development of this game.
Thank you!
