Welcome to Eclipse Anomaly Research! I will be sharing some information about the game & some insights on the upcoming demo.
Overview
Eclipse Anomaly Research is an observation horror where players will need to watch surveillance cameras, report anomalies & research an unknown entity lurking deep in the swamp fog. Players can walk around the swamp outside their shack to perform other tasks such as turning the power back on during power trips, purchase upgrades at the upgrade shack & collect clues left behind.
The game will include 3 modes on release with Normal Story, Permanent Death & Anomaly Research (Anomalies Only).
Demo
The demo is planned to release in the upcoming weeks & will only feature the Anomaly Research mode, with 3 nights available. The swamp monster will not be present in the demo due to the AI still in active development, however I plan to update the demo at some stage in the future to include it.
Release Plan
Upon release the game will feature its base 3 modes Normal Story where you will follow Ivy Summers & her journey, Permanent Death mode where players can play the main story but upon death your upgrades will be lost & you will start at night 1 again. The final mode being Anomaly Research, this mode only features spotting anomalies & reporting them, without the swamp monster to bother you.
Thank you for taking the time to read this & I hope you will join me on this journey. I will continue to post Dev logs as the game gets developed with some behind the scenes stuff. I hope to make a game that is enjoyable & scary! Feel free to Wishlist, your support means so much to me as a solo dev!
Thank you!
