Our first independently developed game, Cat Carried Butterfly, has finally officially launched today! The game is available at a 10% launch discount for the first two weeks, bringing the discounted price to RMB 31.68.
Today also marks the opening of the “Oriental Game Culture Week.” We would like to thank Steam China for the invitation, and we also hope that Cat Carried Butterfly can do its small part in sharing Chinese local folklore, language, and culture while accompanying everyone through a “chilling” May Day holiday.

It is also worth mentioning that we have teamed up with Nu Diao, a two-player co-op Chinese horror puzzle game also rooted in Wu-Yue culture, to create the “Wu-Yue Strange Journey” bundle. Completing the set will grant an additional 5% bundle discount on top of the existing offer.

Q: What time exactly will the game be released on April 28?
A: To help everyone enjoy the game during the May Day holiday, the game will officially launch at 11:00 AM Beijing Time on Tuesday, April 28.
Q: How long will the launch discount last?
A: A 12% launch discount will begin on the release day and last for two weeks, bringing the discounted price to RMB 31.68. The launch discount will end at 11:00 AM on May 10.
Q: How can I report bugs or technical issues encountered in the game?
A: If you encounter any issues while playing, please join our official player group and contact any group admin marked with 【问题咨询】 to submit your feedback. We will provide one-on-one support. We also plan to maintain a relatively high update frequency in the near future, and any issues reported will be fixed as quickly as possible to ensure a smooth gameplay experience. Q: How long is Cat Carried Butterfly?
A: Excluding the prologue and epilogue, the game contains 4 chapters. Of course, puzzle-solving time varies from player to player, but the estimated playtime is around 5 hours.
Q: I already own Nu Diao. Can I still enjoy the 5% bundle discount?
A: Yes! This is a “complete the set” bundle, so both games do not need to be purchased at the same time. Players who already own Nu Diao can purchase Cat Carried Butterfly at a lower price (RMB 28.51).
Q: Does the game support controllers and Steam Deck?
A: Cat Carried Butterfly is a straightforward side-scrolling puzzle game in which most actions can be completed through clicking. At the moment, the game supports keyboard and mouse only, and does not currently support Steam Deck.
Q: I use a Mac computer. Can I play Cat Carried Butterfly?
A: The game supports Mac systems. Please check the minimum requirements before purchasing:

PS: Starting February 15, 2024, the Steam client no longer supports 32-bit games or macOS 10.14 and earlier.
