Dear friend,
We are strangers. So I must warn you—this letter puts you in danger. You will be declared a traitor. They will start persecuting you. They will ruin your life.
There is no turning back. If you are not ready to even think about it, drop this letter at once and burn it!
* * *
Still reading? Then my people who have been watching you were not mistaken.
You are one of us—a thought criminal, an outcast, an enemy of the secret masters of this world. Inside you burns the same fire that burns within us.
Who are “we”?
The whole City will tell you we no longer exist. That we are a shattered gang of murderers and vandals.
They will call me a traitor, an impostor. They will say not a single word of mine can be trusted. That I have long been dead!
Well, I will not argue the last point.
I write to you from a remote corner of our Republic—the city of Broken. I suspect the name means little to you.
But trust me: the monstrous things happening here will soon reach every street of every town. And there is no one to stop them but us.
I enclose a few photographs with this letter. Our people took them in secret.
I believe these pictures will show you, better than any claim, what happens behind the calm facade of Broken.
I cannot tell you more in this letter.
Only this—we need you here, in the City. The Conspiracy needs you.
I know you have many questions! If you do not falter and respond, I will send you more details in my next letter.
I look forward to your reply. What exactly do you need to know to join us?
I believe in you,
Your Dead Friend.

What will you write in your reply?
(The poll results will determine what the mysterious conspirator calling himself the Dead Man sends you in the next letter!)
Who are you? I need to know more about your Conspiracy and its members!
What challenges will I face in the City? And what skills will help me overcome them?
Who will I encounter in your City? Who lives there and what are their customs?
Should I prepare for armed struggle? Will I have to take up arms?
