When we discussed what Reborn Warrior: Chronicles should be, the conversations always came back to the characters. Yes, we have tactics, battles, maps, towers that’s the foundation. But what makes the story alive? Not only victories and defeats, but how the characters react, how they feel, what they hide and what they reveal.
And then the idea came up: to add the possibility of building romantic relationships in the game. Not as a mandatory element, but as a personal path for those who value closeness. This sparked debates. Someone said: “It will add depth.” Another objected: “But not everyone wants to see this. Some prefer only the story and strategy.”
We searched for balance for a long time
The solution turned out to be simple - give a choice. Yes, the game has 18+ scenes that unlock based on certain decisions. But this content can be disabled with a single setting. And then Reborn Warrior: Chronicles remains a visual novel and a strategy without explicit moments.
Romance is not only about scenes. It’s about the opportunity to look at characters from another side.

For example, Sylvana, whom the player first sees as the guardian of the forest and a serious sovereign. If you follow her path, you can unlock more personal moments to see how behind her strength lies vulnerability, tenderness, and emotions that do not appear in battles.
Here are a few scenes with her:

For us, this is not about sensation or provocation. It’s about honesty. Heroes can love, make mistakes, reach for each other and we don’t want to hide that. But we also don’t want to impose it.
In the end, we came to a rule: every player decides for themselves what their journey will be. With a personal story or without. With explicit scenes or only tactics and storyline.
Reborn Warrior: Chronicles is about choice. In battle. In dialogues. In relationships. And this choice we leave to you.
