Komari:
This year, since I’m with Himari, I really want to have some delicious soba.
It’s the long-awaited New Year’s soba, you know!
Himari:
This year, we’re having Sarashina soba—white noodles made from the very first flour milled from buckwheat.
And since we’re in Gifu, we have to add some crunchy tempura bits too.
Komari:
Yeah! I heard the tempura bits here have a secret seasoning.
And if we float a little wasabi on top… ahhh, I can’t wait, I can’t wait!
Himari:
Mm-hmm. Oh, that reminds me, Komari-chan!
Speaking of soba, I’ve heard Izumo’s Ago Soba is really famous.
The noodles are crumbly yet firm, the broth isn’t too sweet, and the tempura is supposed to be amazing.
Let’s go there next year!
Komari:
Yes, yes! And then we can compare it to Sarashina soba.
…Everyone in Secret Communication, make sure you prepare some tasty soba too!
