Dupery Demo v0.4.9 (Demo Patch #8)
Happy Steam Detective Fest!
Hope you are all having a wonderful start to 2026!
As we continue to work on the main game and its new regions, we have released this demo patch that adds a few new roles, fixes a few bugs, and adds some new QoL features!
What's been changed?
Added five new roles!
Two new innocents; the Empath and the Researcher.
One new meddler; the Jinx .
One new underling: the Serial Killer.
One new traitor; the Recruiter.
Added simple touch and pen support.
Added new artwork for the crime scene and clocktower locations.
Fixed bug when loading a saved case with a Hitman in it that caused them to kill more than they should.
Fixed bug with Hitman when both Deadly Aim and Silent Accomplice quirks are in play.
Fixed some minor spelling mistakes throughout the codex.
Fixed bug with progression screen having max progression be 94%.
Fixed bug with Stalker when pretending to be a Private Eye or Surgeon having unintended behaviour.
We hope you enjoy the new roles and features and we cannot wait to share more about the main games progress as we continue into the year!
As always you can catch us live on Thursday on our weekly development stream or of course in the discord if you want to come say hello!
Good luck with your cases detectives!
