👋 Hello there!
This is a little developer update about the roadmap to bring a demo of the game to Steam!
🗺️ Roadmap to Demo
Roughly targeting for a Spring 2026 timeline for a demo launch!
For the rest of the 2025 year, I'll be building out the demo experience to give players a glimpse of what the core gameplay loop would be. From investigating folktale sightings to following their trails, jumping into strategic turn-based battles with these beasts, bringing their captured books back to the Library of Lost Tales, and picking up new hunt contracts for which folktales to track down next.
Early in the 2026 year, I'll be preparing the demo build for endless playtesting and bug fixing to get that demo experience as polished as possible for launch.
Depending on which game event showcases are lined up for Spring 2026, I'm hoping this game can participate in them to bring news of the demo launch to a wider audience.
📢 Stay Tuned for more updates!
Thank you all for wishlisting the game! Truly appreciate each and every one of you!
Every wishlist does help & sharing word of indie games helps support all the indie game devs out there!
I hope to share more about the game demo in the next post, but for now I leave you with a glimpse of the new visuals for pawprint trails to follow...
