Patch 0.3.0 is here with several new additions, balance changes, and improvements across the game.
New Content
New Units
Several new units have been added to the roster.
Information about their abilities can be discovered in-game.
New Items
New items have been added.
Item effects are revealed through gameplay.
New Event: Lost and Found
Choose between Food, Gold, or Pearls and gain rewards based on your choice.
New Mechanics
Resistance
Introduced a new mechanic: Resistance.
Resistance is a balanced version of Immune.
Units gain X Resistance charges, protecting them from negative effects that many times.
All Treasure units now have Resistance instead of Immune.
Changes & Improvements
Fish rarity is now displayed under the unit’s name.
UI has been updated to work better across different screen sizes.
Reroll cost now increases by 1 each time it is used, giving players more opportunities to find their desired builds.
The shop now includes at most 3 non-fish items, making it easier to find fish units.
Compasses used to upgrade fish tiers have been moved to a dedicated event that appears every third round.
Cracky will now only speak the first time you play, unless re-enabled manually.
Health, wins, and losses can now be displayed in any scene.
The blue bar shows wins remaining until victory.
The red bar shows remaining lives until defeat.
Events have been updated to be more engaging, now offering multiple choices until you win or lose.
You can no longer start a battle with an empty board.
Enemy units that scale with gold now properly use their gold stat.
Some enemy teams may have no gold and will not deal gold-based damage.
Added many new sound effects to the game.
Balance Changes
Ink has been nerfed and can now only stack once.
Many units have been changed or reworked.
Check the Encyclopedia for a full list of unit changes.
Notes
Additional under-the-hood changes and optimizations have been made.
During the release of the next patch, all teams created during this patch will be purged to ensure compatibility with upcoming changes.
