Hello members of the Joint Investigation Team,
We will perform a game update on the morning of January 24, 2026, which will involve a brief period of server maintenance.
We have received a lot of player feedback regarding the game's difficulty. As a result, we have decided to first reduce the overall difficulty of the current version. In future updates, we will introduce a difficulty selection feature to meet the needs of players seeking more challenging gameplay.
Additionally, we will remove the matchmaking mode. In a future update, it will be replaced with a lobby mode, allowing players to freely choose their partners for gameplay.
Game Modifications
Reduced health and attack growth of monsters—now higher danger levels will be easier than before.
Increased rarity of rewards from chests, making it easier for players to obtain high-rarity equipment.
The BOSS battle will now automatically trigger on the night of Day 3 instead of Day 4 to better suit the adjusted difficulty.
Removed matchmaking mode and added dynamic difficulty indicators based on player count.
Bug Fixes
Fixed certain sound effect errors.
Fixed an issue where players received no prompt when attempting to open certain challenge events without a key.
Fixed abnormal monster spawning after pausing during defense events.
Fixed an issue where players could not receive rewards after using the final key to unlock the Stardust Challenge.
Fixed a bug where the BOSS entrance animation could get stuck.
Currently, some players are experiencing black screen issues. We are working hard to resolve them. If you encounter this problem, please provide the Player.log file located in the following directory:
C:\\Users\\Administrator\\AppData\\LocalLow\\FoolishNova\\Dominion Of The Forgotten
Send it to our email: [email protected]. This will help us gather information about the cause of the black screen and assist in resolving the issue.
We welcome any suggestions or feedback you have about our game. Your input is incredibly valuable for guiding our future optimizations. The purpose of releasing the demo is to gather player experiences. Our game is not a traditional numeric progression-based design but rather aims to grow with player experience. We look forward to exploring this journey together with all of you.
