Story: Meina Comes Home from a Walk—And the Village Is in Big Trouble!?
When Meina returns from her walk…
the people of Slugnail Village have been possessed by the Roridium Slime!?
According to Obaba, the only villager who’s still safe,
the key to restoring everyone is a “material”: Blue Pure Slimes.
To save the village, Meina heads to the garden to gather what’s needed…
A 5-Episode Story Mode Told with Manga-Style Direction + Full Voice Acting
In Garden Hunt, the story is told through manga-like panel transitions and full voice acting.
The manga presentation shines especially when it comes to Meina’s cuteness:
Her expressions constantly change (surprised, downcast, “hmm…”, and more)
The playful banter between slightly airheaded Meina and Obaba’s sharp, no-nonsense retorts
Snappy pacing created through panel layouts and camera angles
It’s a brisk, easy-to-read story you can enjoy between action stages.
This part is brought to life with adorable manga art by Itame Moyashi and wonderful performances from the voice cast:
Meina: Yuka Hiiragi
Obaba: Fumi Morisawa
Please also pay attention to the subtle timing, shifts in expression, and moments where the art and voices come together.
