Hello future Pyrrhics,
Grab a friend (or meet one in our Discord) and help shape Everlast from the ground up. This is your chance to jump into co-op combat, explore Kal Crossing, and tell us what hits—and what needs work.
In this playtest you’ll:
Fight together in online solo or co-op and stress-test joining/hosting worlds
Try early combat + gathering + crafting + questing as the foundations come online
Help steer development with feedback and bug reports that directly guide the next playtest
Everlast: Undying Tale is an online co-op action-adventure RPG. Cursed by Death to live as an Undead. You must balance the powers of this curse against its effects on your humanity. Fight, craft, and quest across a vast world in this homage to classic RPGs.

WHAT IS THIS PLAYTEST’S GOAL?
We’ve made a lot of progress since the last playtest. This one is focused on two main things:
Core gameplay systems — early versions of combat, gathering, crafting, questing, and more.
Online co-op — stability, joining friends’ worlds, and overall multiplayer experience.
We’re aiming to showcase the early scale and direction of what Everlast can become — and your feedback will directly shape what we improve and expand in future playtests.
If you encounter bugs or issues, please report them (details below). The best places to reach us, report issues, and give feedback are Discord and Steam.
WHAT WILL I EXPERIENCE DURING THE PLAYTEST?
This playtest represents a very early version of Everlast: Undying Tale. You should expect bugs — and we’ll do our best to address critical issues as quickly as we can.
During the playtest, you’ll explore the beginning of our starting area, Kal Crossing, and play through a few questlines that introduce core systems and skills.
FINDING PLAYERS TO PLAY WITH
Because we really want to test online co-op, we will be hosting several worlds for people to join so we can see how performance is affected as we want to focus on the multiplayer aspect the most.
If you don’t already have friends to play with, our Discord is the best place to find other players and group up:
Please be kind and respectful when playing with others. If someone is behaving badly, let our team know in Discord so we can address it.
HOW DO I REPORT A BUG?
