Q: What is the current development progress? Is the game fully completed?
A: To put it plainly and straightforwardly — the game is not finished yet.
Actually, August 14th is the final release date confirmed by our team, which we believe is the most suitable launch time after reviewing the overall progress. In the two months ahead of launch, we will keep creating and adjusting game content, as well as polishing the finished parts to deliver the best gaming experience for you.
Q: Will the game be split into two parts? Is a mobile version going to be released?
A: The story of Evil School is coherent and complete, so we have no plan to divide it. You will get the full game experience with the purchase on August 14th. That said, we may release DLC later to reveal untold backstories of the characters. Stay tuned!
As for the mobile version, considering the game genre and themes, we have no relevant development plans for now. Players who are interested are welcome to play the game on Steam.
Q: Is the game adapted from real-life events? Are the bullying plots based on real stories?
A: Evil School has no real-life prototypes or true events as its source. We understand why it reminds you of reality, for cruel bullying does exist in real life, and some incidents are even more horrifying than our fictional plots. This is exactly why we decided to depict bullying in the game: we want everyone to realize that bullying is never just kids messing around. Its harm is far graver than people think.
Q: Where can I get official merchandise of the game?
A: Our merchandise crowdfunding campaign will kick off in mid-July, featuring signed character photos, game CDKs, decorative posters and many other exquisite items. Before then, keep an eye on our official accounts. We will hold regular giveaways where you can win signed character photos and other rewards.
