Hey everyone,
Potato Kid here, the team behind Talaka!!
Here's the honest truth: feedback from players is the only way we'll be able to make the game truly great.
We've been heads-down in development for a long time now, and at a certain point, you stop seeing your own game clearly — everything starts to feel "fine" because you're too close to it. Fresh eyes are the only fix for that. So we need your eyes!
We're also roguelite players ourselves, so we know that balance is what can make or break a game like Talaka. We want real data, real deaths, real "that run was bullshit" moments and "holy hell this is awesome" fights — early, mid, and late into a run — so we can actually fix what's broken and double down on what's working.
From July 8–16,
You can request access to the Closed Beta. Just head to the #talaka-beta-request channel on the Discord linked below and drop a message — we'll get you a key and a spot in the beta channel.
The beta itself happens,
July 16–30,
And it covers our first two biomes.
Come play an unfinished game with us and tell us everything right and wrong with it.
