XLGAMES New Title, 'THE CUBE, SAVE US' Confirmed for Steam Next Fest

Next-Generation PvPvE Extraction PC Action Game Set in a Post-Apocalyptic World Revealed for the First Time, Steam Page Now Live

XLGAMES (CEO Choi Kwan-ho) has officially unveiled its upcoming title ‘THE CUBE, SAVE US’, currently in development at Studio Cube, along with the game’s first gameplay footage. The company also confirmed the game’s participation in the upcoming Steam Next Fest, which will take place from October 14 (Tue) 2:00 AM to October 21 (Tue) 2:00 AM (KST).

‘THE CUBE, SAVE US’ is a next-generation extraction action game set in a post-apocalyptic world. Built with Unreal Engine 5, the game delivers immersive gameplay through realistic 3D graphics. Up to 63 players can join a single session to experience intense player-versus-player-versus-environment (PvPvE) combat.

The game’s story unfolds around a massive cube left behind by an alien civilization on a post-nuclear Earth. To survive, players must enter the cube, scavenge vital resources, fight against mutated monsters and other players, and make a successful escape—capturing the intense thrill of the extraction action genre.

XLGAMES will officially showcase ‘THE CUBE, SAVE US’ to gamers during Steam Next Fest, starting on October 14 (Tue). During the event, anyone with a Steam account will be able to download the free demo and experience the innovative cube system, intense large-scale battles, and the core essence of PvPvE gameplay firsthand.

Park Youngsung, PD at Studio Cube, stated, “‘THE CUBE, SAVE US’ is a survival and escape game set inside a massive cube made up of 27 interconnected sections, each with a unique environment. We designed it to make players excited about what might await behind each door. There are no character classes—instead, players choose from seven weapon types that suit their personal playstyle. Between fast-paced combat encounters, strategically used special skills such as invisibility and teleportation offer a unique thrill exclusive to our game. We’re excited to introduce the game to both Korean and global players through Steam Next Fest.”

More information about ‘THE CUBE, SAVE US’, developed and published by XLGAMES, as well as the option to add the game to your wishlist, is available on the official Steam page.
