Yes, you heard that right! To celebrate, we’ve just launched the public Steam Playtest, giving you access to a few selected sections of the game - from a routine visit to a research outpost orbiting Saturn to its exobiology sector and beyond, right where standard procedures end and improvisation becomes a matter of survival.
The briefing starts now!
FIRST STOP: VON NEUMANN OUTPOST
Your contract starts at Von Neumann Outpost. Walk its calm, quiet corridors before all cosmic hell breaks loose. Explore the facility, gear up, meet the crew, and catch an early glimpse of whatever is already creeping through their minds.
Just don't get too comfortable. It won’t last.
This is the part where things get ugly.
WELCOME TO EXO LABS
After the briefing, you’ll jump ahead to what you’re likely most eager to try.
We’re sending you into Exo Labs so you can field-test some of the weapons and learn what works best against each twisted horror. Expect cold, industrial corridors with unknown specimens in holding vats, classic vent-crawling, and some environmental puzzles to crack.
If you make it through all of that alive, you’ll get an early look at something much more incomprehensible.
After Exo Labs, you’re not done yet.

To join the Playtest, head to the DERELIKT Steam page, hit Request Access, and get aboard.
Starting tomorrow, we’ll be granting Playtest access daily to registered players. Sign up now and be among the first to set foot on the station.
After you’ve played, don’t forget to share your impressions!
Tell us how the atmosphere hits, how you handle navigating the decks, which weapon packs the meanest punch, what clicked, what fell flat, and whatever else stood out. Give it to us straight - the more detail, the better!
