First of all Apologies, I'm sorry.
I regret having promised a proper release date but felt obligated to do so since I was now officially a Steam Dev and was incentivized to do so. In hindsight I should have labeled it as Coming Soon and then released it when it was ready but wanted Light Fall - A Clicker RPG to be 100% done this year so I can kick off 2026 with a release of another game I'm working on.
Due to my busy hours at my day job IRL, the Holidays, and a few missing features I'm forced to push the date of release back more because
I don't want my first Steam game release to have Overall Negative reviews out the gate (I'm not setting the world on fire with this game but this process is meant to be a learning experience).
It gives me a bit more time to make sure the game is as bug free as possible
The Russian Language Translation would be available at launch
More time to gain wishlists before launch again (Looking to have 1,600 by Launch now)
I won't have to rush this out the door and have players think it's just some cash grab, I care a lot about how my game is presented and don't want to pull a Cyberpunk on all of you.
Like I said in the previous update the game is done, as in beatable from start to finish BUT features like unlockable Gallery Art, Bios, Russian Translation, etc aren't complete yet and there could be more bugs like the update v1.85 incident that had me scrambling to fix bugs I didn't find on my own.
What will happen next?
The Game at this point will most likely shadow drop sometime between now through February 14th (Valentine's Day) If it does release that day it will release alongside another game I have worked on but chose to release Light Fall first, go figure -_-
I'm not adding new features, just implementing features that are supposed be in this game at launch.
