Hello everyone!
A lot of work has been done recently on TAWA: Lost in Time, and I'm excited to share the latest developments!
New Tutorial Featuring ChaCha and Milca
The game's introduction has been improved with a brand-new tutorial featuring ChaCha and Milca. These characters will help guide new players through the basics of survival, exploration, and the first steps of Tawa's adventure.
The goal is to make the beginning of the game more immersive while naturally teaching important gameplay mechanics.
Localization Improvements
The menu system has been updated and now properly responds again in all the languages currently supported on Steam. This improvement ensures a smoother experience for players around the world and fixes several localization-related issues.
Carnivorous Plant Mini-Boss Available
The Carnivorous Plant Mini-Boss has officially arrived! This dangerous creature now guards part of the adventure and will test players' reflexes and survival skills.
Meanwhile, the Auronal Forest Mini-Boss is currently in development and should be arriving soon.
Glacier Biome Development
Work is actively progressing on the Glacier biome. The level's routes, exploration paths, and progression systems are currently being refined to create a unique atmosphere and new challenges.
Once the Glacier area reaches a satisfactory state, development will move to the next level, which is already undergoing internal testing.
Following the Trail of Your Family
A new exploration mechanic is being expanded: players will be able to smell and follow the traces left by Tawa's family. These clues will help uncover what happened and guide players deeper into the story.
Guidance from Phiso and Other Characters
Throughout the adventure, Phiso the bird and other characters will provide valuable advice, hints, and lore. Paying attention to their guidance can help players discover secrets, avoid dangers, and progress through the world more efficiently.
Thank you all for your support and feedback. More updates are on the way as development continues to move forward!
See you in the next devlog! 🦖❄️🌲
