Dear reader,
Thanks for your patience on the new update.
I'm happy to present Postal Strike 0.8 to you - now with even more letters!
I've always been aware that before you've bought extra letter types from the Upgrades menu, the pool of weapons is a little limited... therefore these new letters are all useable from the start of the game - adding more variety to your builds!
But what's been added? Let's find out:
The slow-moving, piercing Snail Mail. It fires out in random directions but will slow any enemies it hits
The high-damage, slow firing First Class mail. This one's like a sniper
The low-damage, fast firing Second Class mail. Think machine gun with this one
The chaotic, explosive Package. You can add loads of extra projectiles with this one to fling at enemies
The huge Large Letter. This one moves from left to right taking out any enemies it touches and can get massive
Several new bug fixes and balance tweaks
This took a lot of work to add and I basically broke half the game at one point, but I'm glad it's finally in the game - sorry it took so long!
Next - I plan to add loads more options for the shop. This update should hopefully be a bit quicker.
As ever, there will be bugs! I will fix as I find them.
Yours joyfully,
Jimmy
