As the bell tolls twelve times and moonlight illuminates the Golden dungeon, the mysterious Mr. NewYearChest has appeared at the Nameless Church.
He says:
"At the dawn of the New Year, four eggs have been hidden within this Cathedral.
One has a keen ear for listening; One gazes into the far distance; One follows like a shadow; One opens only for the Red Key.
Bring them all back to me, and a New Year’s gift shall be yours."

🎮 Challenge Content
To celebrate the arrival of 2026, Mr. NewYearChest has hidden 4 puzzle eggs deep within the dungeon (specific content kept secret—come find them yourself). Solve the puzzles, discover the hidden treasures, and prove with your screenshot—you're the best thief of them all!
📝 How to Participate
On December 30th 9:00 PM PST or later, update the game demo and infiltrate the Golden dungeon.
Complete the egg puzzles in-game to receive Mr. Chest's New Year's gift. Remember to take a screenshot with your watermark!
Head to the Discord #thief-star-challenge-event channel and create a post.
Share your "heist experience"—tell us how you found it! Your post must include a screenshot of the "New Year's Gift."
🎁 Generous Rewards
Speed Rewards: The first 3 Super Thieves who post on Discord will each receive a $10 Steam Gift Card.
Lucky Draw: All subsequent participants (from the 4th onward) will automatically enter the prize pool. After the event ends, we will randomly select 10 lucky Super Thieves, each winning a $5 Steam Gift Card.
Hall of Fame: All winning Super Thieves will be engraved on the "Honor Wall" on the Goblin Vyk store page. Your legend will spread across the world!
All participants who join the New Year event and post in the Discord channel (regardless of whether you find all puzzles—posting means successful participation) will receive early access to the game's Playtest version before launch.
