Greetings.
The Sword Game just had its' own Demo event at Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki, in which I have received a huge amount of praise and feedback. Most of the changes were made based off of them.
Removed the wall in the first tutorial level.
Introducing: S-rank! For now it's achievable if you get the time of the A-rank + no damage taken. More requirements may be introduced later.
The crosshair will change its' color when the player gets to a killable distance to a slashable (Land demon, The Eye) enemy.
The Eye now has an animated edge detection for when it's off the field of view.
Player landing now has an audio feedback.
Bug fixes on the level selection screen.
Pause menu icons and text are now more aligned.
Steam's Next Fest 2025 October event has started a few hours ago, and I'm hoping for good results. If you're reading this because of the Next fest: Hi! Hope you enjoy the demo.
