Hope you're all having a great time with your AI companions. We’re excited to roll out a new patch, version 0.4.8.25.1, bringing some major quality-of-life improvements and new creative tools to your Unibot experience. Let's dive into what's new!
What’s New in This Patch?
External Editor & 2D Avatar Creator: Ever wanted more control over your bot's personality and appearance? Now you can! We’ve added an external editor for .json file editing and creation, giving you the power to fine-tune your bot’s settings. Plus, we’ve included a brand new 2D Avatar Creator, so you can design and customize your bot’s visual identity with ease.
Audio-Streaming Mode: We heard your requests for faster responses! We've implemented a new "Audio-Streaming-Mode" that reduces the latency from audio generation to playback. This means your bot's voice will start playing faster, making conversations feel much more natural and fluid.
Emotion Detection Toggle: For those of you looking to optimize your resource usage, we've added a new option to disable the bot's emotion-detection. This will help save on AI requests, giving you more control over your usage.
Changes & Fixes
Gemini-API Error Handling: We’ve beefed up the error handling for the Gemini-API. If something goes wrong, you'll now get a much clearer and more descriptive error message, helping you troubleshoot issues more effectively. No more cryptic codes!
Blockfilter Adjustments: It seems our blockfilter was a little too enthusiastic and was blocking messages it shouldn't have. We've gone in and made some adjustments, so your bot should now respond to a wider range of messages without being overly restrictive.
