This update brings a full Progress Tracker, a brand-new Level Selection system, more kanji content, a new song, better camera, and world-building improvements.

💻 NEW: Study Progress Tracker!
Track your Japanese learning in a clear, motivating way.
• A new computer at the school entrance now shows your correct-answer count across:
→ Hiragana
→ Katakana
→ JLPT N5–N1
→ Kanji Known & Kanji Quizzes
• Each time you answer a quiz correctly, your point total for that category increases.
• This lets you see your overall progress grow as you study in the Playnese world!
Note:
Computers in the Kanji rooms have been temporarily removed.
More content will be added to the open tables in future updates (same for JLPT rooms, which will expand with new lessons).
🎨 NEW: Choose Your Japanese Level!
Fine-tune your experience as you improve.
• In your room, use the PC to select your current Japanese level.
• A special painting will appear above the PC showing your chosen level.
• Your choice affects the world (more in future updates):
→ Some events slightly adjust toward your level
→ Expect more questions from your selected tier and the one above it (e.g., choose N4 → get more N4 and N3 content)
This will grow over time as more level-specific lessons are created!
🈶 Kanji 61–70: 60 New Example Sentences Added!
• Fresh examples added for Kanji #61–70
• (Kanji 71–100 currently in progress 🔧)
🎵 NEW MUSIC: Track 13 –『首が痛い』(My Neck Hurts)
• A brand-new track has been added to the Music Room.
• This one has an energetic / hopefully motivating vibe.
🏫 Better Camera + New Signs & World Details
• Improved camera distance so reading signs, posters, and such is easier. (More improvement coming)
• Added new paintings and signs around the world, including:
→ The school
→ Your house
→ The castle
• Many more decorative + educational signs coming soon so you can read while you travel!
🛠 Fixes & Notes
• Fixed: Hiragana Theory option buttons sometimes appearing over text at the bottom.
• Not a bug, but a note:
→ Some newly added cards may not appear in older save files (more adjustments coming).
