We have noticed that the vast amounts of servers that the community has been running have been modifying values on the server such as gravity and breaking world consistency. Many of these servers for months have been modifying game files, editing game database files, using old server files and memory patching the version information so it would still load.
This doesn't even include the bad rules such as 'No KOS' and 'Dont kill the admin rex, and make sure you share food with the admin rex'.
Because this is ruining the experience of the game for many of the players we have decided that the only option is to host some official servers. When these are online we ask you to only submit bug reports for things that have happened on official servers otherwise you will be wasting developers time looking into issues that may not even exist on the official game.
Servers such as as "TIL / Til The End" have been reported as changing these settings and having various world state problems. This includes BattlEye Kicks and other stability issues that are not present on any other server. If you are going to play on these servers, do not submit bug reports and problems present on them.
We will be getting official servers up as soon as possible, the only rules on official servers are the following:
- No Hacking / Cheating
- No Exploiting.
Everything else is completely allowed. No other poorly designed rules.
