Brave adventurers,
Today, we’re incredibly excited to announce that The Severed Gods is officially available in Early Access on Steam!
From this moment on, you’ll take your first step into a dark fantasy world ravaged by colossal Titans, and wield the blade that will begin your journey to slay the gods.
This is a path where you will fall, rise, and return again and again.
Are you ready to be the one who looks the gods in the eye?
What kind of game is The Severed Gods?
Break, Sever, Master the Vertical Battlefield.
The battlefield here isn’t flat.
Every enemy has Low, Mid, and High body sections, each with its own weaknesses and shields. Strike vulnerable points to break their defenses and bring them down, or sever their limbs to take away their attacks.
From legs to torso to head, every Titan is a fortress waiting for you to dismantle it piece by piece.
Reincarnation - Death Is Only the Beginning
Falling isn’t the end.
Every failure makes you stronger. Permanently unlock new heroes, upgrade your abilities, and bring more powerful Relics into your next battle.
Every death lays the foundation for your next revenge.
Sin & Virtue - Your Choices Shape Your Fate
Will you loot a dying soldier, or lend them a helping hand?
Will you accept a gift from the darkness, or hold on to your principles?
There are no absolute rights or wrongs in this world, only consequences you must bear.
Every choice you make quietly reshapes the journey ahead.
Five Different Paths
In Early Access, you can choose from five heroes, each with a completely different playstyle:
The Severer - Inherit skills from NPCs and create unique combinations tailored to your playstyle.
The Enchanter - Recruit companions to join your party and never face the battlefield alone.
The Seeker - Reveal the fog of the map and uncover enemy weaknesses and hidden secrets.
The Thief - Use nimble hands to acquire resources from the most unexpected places.
The Taoist - Fight using talismans and seals, inspired by our understanding of and tribute to Eastern culture.
