Hey everyone! This Saturday (August 29) we are running a cross-server event, the Battle of Pindus, on the PTS server. The PTS now holds up-to-date copies of the player databases from both Elysium and Olympia. That means you can simply download the PTS client and log in with your own character. The PTS client is available ONLY in our launcher. If your account is a Steam account, download our launcher as well, install the PTS client, but start the game from the game folder using the gw_steam.bat file. The event takes place on Saturday at 6 PM server time. The rewards you earn during the event (bGold) will be duplicated to your main character on Olympia or Elysium within 24 hours after the event ends, delivered as bGold pouches to your web warehouse.
This event is our way of testing three things
That the database merge between different servers works correctly.
That the server holds up under real load.
Mass PvP feedback from real players.
So after the event, we ask every player to leave feedback in the PTS thread on Discord. Tell us what you liked, what you did not, whether you ran into any problems and if so, which ones. Every single review helps us make our new client and server better.
Friends, we are closer than ever to the big one: moving the game to our own platform. How smooth that transition is, and how good a game we end up with, depends on each of you. I am counting on your participation, and thank you for being with us!
While I am at it, a reminder to follow our Facebook page with the freshest server news: facebook.com/GodsArena.online (and if you would like to become an author, message PapaLosh in Discord DMs).
And be sure to drop by our 24/7 stream, where we give away 100,000 bGold every day along with other prizes: youtube.com/@GodsArena.Online/live
