Performance & AI
Significant AI performance improvements, especially in crowded combat scenarios
Reduced unnecessary logic ticks and smarter decision updates
Overall smoother gameplay with fewer micro-stutters (the AI learned to breathe)
Visual Improvements
General visual polishing across multiple assets
Added weapon outlines for better readability in chaotic fights
Improved clarity for interactables and combat feedback
Story & Lore
Return to Sector T67 after the Shoo-Gen fight
Expanded lore, additional context, and a small narrative twist
Said twist may or may not involve the need to weld a door shut
Environmental storytelling has been enhanced
Gameplay & Systems
BRAA Ammo Dispenser now correctly displays:
Ammo cost
Required input
Grenades are now non-physical objects
No more accidental grenade parkour
Scientist logic is now handled globally, improving consistency and behavior because escort missions can be a pain, especially if persons don't follow orders correctly
Under the Hood
Internal cleanup and refactoring
Small logic fixes and stability improvements
Fewer “how did that even happen?” moments
Looking Ahead
Next update will include:
Another Story Level
Further balancing and system tweaks
More changes, more polish, more controlled chaos
Merry Christmas :)
