SuprSketch 5.0.0 - We Rebuilt Everything
Hey everyone. This is not a patch. We rebuilt the entire desktop app from the ground up and shipped a ton of new features across the platform. This is the biggest update we've ever done.
Complete Desktop Redesign
We threw out the old UI and rebuilt it. The app now contains all of art experience and tools of suprsketch.com, but tuned for desktop. If you used the old version, this is going to feel like a different app. New in the titlebar:
Tools dropdown for artists
Artist Signup button if you're not an artist yet

Notification bell with unread count
Artwork viewer pop-out button when connected to an artist
Dark mode toggle that syncs across all windows
New Features
Live Artwork Pop-Out Viewer
Watch artists create live in a resizable pop-out window. Hit the viewer button in the titlebar while connected to an artist and a separate window opens with their live canvas. Remembers your window position between sessions. Syncs with your theme.
Notification System
Full notification panel built into the titlebar. Unread count badge, notification list, click-to-navigate, and notification categories. On desktop, site notifications also trigger native OS notifications with sound toggles in Settings.
Chat Upgrades
Chat now has a full dark/light theme system that syncs with the app. Inline chat lives in the right sidebar with artist room and global room toggle. Pop it out into its own window if you want. The moderation dashboard got a big upgrade too: ban/timeout management (room and global), word filters, slow mode, custom emotes per room, user reports with grouping, and a full audit log.
Art School & Communities
Art School is live. Browse communities, take courses with full lesson playback, track your progress, join discussions, check leaderboards, view event calendars, and see member lists. Communities have their own tabs for courses, discussions, calendar, leaderboard, members, and settings. One-time purchase courses are supported alongside subscriptions.
Artist Pages and Marketplace
Full artist page access with Marketplace now supports video content alongside images. Share marketplace items directly. Upload UI improved. Item viewer got a major overhaul with better previews and video playback. All artwork in the marketplace and gallery is protected by our secure framework.
Social Media Dashboard
New tool for artists. Compose posts for multiple platforms at once, schedule them with SocialCalendar, preview how they'll look on each platform, and manage everything from one dashboard. Includes a media uploader and platform connection status. 
Artist Integrations
Connect your Discord server and Patreon directly to your SuprSketch profile. Discord invite button only shows if you've configured a server. Integration sync logs so you can see what's connected and working.
Analytics Dashboard
Updated analytics for artists with new widgets: course sales tracking, subscriber counts, and revenue overview. All responsive.
Artist Card Context Menu
Right-click any artist card on desktop to get a quick menu: Connect Wallpaper, Go to Artist Page, or Pop Out Viewer. Faster than navigating to the page first.
Art Protection
We added a new ProtectedImage component that renders artwork on a canvas element instead of a standard image tag. Right-click saving is blocked. Drag-to-desktop is blocked. Lightbox uses canvas rendering. Video players block downloads across 9 components. Combined with the existing forensic watermarking system, your art is more protected than ever.
