Hi everyone! After several months of development and testing, multiplayer is here! It has two modes: Play with Friends, where you can invite any Steam friend to a 1v1 match, and Quick Play, where you’ll be matched with another player who’s also searching for a game.
Our next goal for future updates is to add 2v2 and 3v3 multiplayer matches, as well as 2v2 and 3v3 vs AI! Stay tuned for upcoming updates.
New: Online Multiplayer
Added online multiplayer mode.
You can invite your friends through Steam to play private matches.
Quick Play: find random opponents for fast matches.
Real-time chat during matches.
Your custom deck syncs with your opponent.
Fully functional Flor system.
Stats and achievements count in online matches.
Bug Fixes
Fixed Envido tie: now the mano wins correctly (previously the one who called Envido would win).
Fixed a bug where you could call Envido after playing a card.
Fixed a bug where the AI would reject Truco/Retruco even when holding the aces (anchos) or the 7 of gold/swords.
AI Balancing
Improved hand play logic: the AI evaluates the round context before deciding what to play.
Improved Truco acceptance logic: the AI evaluates the round context before deciding.
The Adaptive style is now more interesting: it analyzes the match and changes strategy as the game evolves.
All styles can now bluff with Envido.
The AI can now accept Envido with medium points to test whether the opponent is bluffing and decide based on the response.
Improved AI “picardía”: it now bluffs more strategically.
Thank you and remember, any bug or thing you see just let me know in discussions tab, regards!
