Hello everyone, a little bit of a delayed update for you.
I'd like to start by simply saying ; the Infestation Update is coming soon.
I have finished reworking the level logic for Infestation to be more unique and separate from the original variant inside of Instant Action, as well as designing the new locations and unlocking logic!
With that being said, I am now implementing the finishing touches inside the new launcher.
Primarily optimization with how it utilizes system memory, that way it's lightweight and serves as a stylized wrapper and REAL main menu for Harbinger.
After this, there will be a short period for testing until full implementation into the main build.
Once the update releases, I will of course go over every change in the change log, as well as a mini tour of the new launcher and new mode!
Now this raises the next question ;
"What comes after? Is this the final update?"
Nope. Far from it. I won't give timelines without certainty, but we still have the revamped demo coming, and I'll still eagerly listen to community feedback to help improve Harbinger the best I can!
(Admittedly, I don't know where else to go from here aside from fixing bugs.)
I love this project, and I'm more than ecstatic to prove it through these updates.
So, whether you dove into Harbinger on release day, or are just jumping in, or watching closely and waiting, (like a certain cult);
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and giving HARBINGER - Legacy Edition in general the time of day.
FIGHT FOR HUMANITY.
