Welcome to the Forbidden Zone.
In this first-person survival-horror experience, you'll brave the treacherous trenches of a grimdark world - trapped, torn, and twisted by endless war. Play as 12 unique characters, each with their own traits, motivations, and individual missions within the mysterious and dreadful Zone. We’re thrilled to announce our survival-horror title: In Hope Voiden!
Check out our reveal trailer for a first look at the world and teased gameplay.
Consequences Lurk Behind Every Corner
Characters can die. Doors stay open. Items get used up. This is a world of permanent consequences - where dwindling resources and lost lives not only influence the story, but result in your personalized anthology.
Our mechanical and narrative design centers around this core concept, creating personalized tales of close calls, humble heroism, and selfless sacrifice. The fates of the 12 characters are intertwined, and the mysteries only deepen as the Zone grows darker and more hostile with every step.
Survive the Zone
Manage your resources wisely, choose your fights carefully, and beware of anomalous occurrences. As you loot lost stashes and run from relentless enemies, you’ll discover objects in the world to interact with - from fuse boxes and locked doors to usable items like flares and bandages.
These interactions take the form of real-time minigames, varying in complexity, risk, and reward.
We’re excited to share more about the game and its development - and to gather your feedback on our journey to release. Join us in the coming months as we reveal first looks at our varied cast of characters, unique locations, the lore of the Zone and the world beyond, as well as our intricate game mechanics.
