News Flash!
The release on July 6th is getting closer and I have some news for you!
Upon release the game will be available as part of multiple bundles with similar games that I believe are interesting to you if you like Cosmodrill. There are more to come, but at this point I can confirm the following bundles:
Mining Merchant x Cosmodrill
Chipmatic x Cosmodrill
Astro Prospector x Cosmodrill
You Know The Drill x Cosmodrill
Deep Space Exploitation x Cosmodrill
Astronomics x Cosmodrill
I'd also like to announce that I'm working on an additional game mode to provide more content to the game! It will be called "Mission mode" and contain 12 individual missions.
"Pilot, it's time to return home... The journey will be difficult and we will face many dangers! Only with your help will we be able to succeed. Destroy the hostile ships we will encounter on our way, mine the resources needed to maintain the station and remove any debris in our way. We're counting on you!"
In each mission, you have to complete an objective within a limited time to earn anywhere from 1 to 3 stars. The less time you need to complete the mission, the more stars you receive! Afterwards, you can use the stars to buy upgrades for your ship. That means that you might have to return to a difficult mission later to try and earn more stars than before with your new upgrades.
Mission types include:
- Find, mine and deliver a certain amount of resources of a certain kind!
- Remove the debris blocking the stations movement!
- Liberate and rebuilt all occupied space stations!
I'm hoping to let members of the discord test the new game mode soon so I can make sure it's fun and free of bugs.
That's all for now! Have a great day and stay tuned for more news leading up to launch day :)
