During this sprint, we focused on refining the game’s economy system. Getting this right is crucial: it not only makes the game more engaging and balanced, but also allows us to build deeper systems on top of it.
Introducing the Business Review System
With the new economic foundations in place, we’ve started implementing the Business Review system.
How does it work? At the end of each production cycle, your company will face a review from its stakeholders. They’ll evaluate your performance based on several key factors:
- Dividends generated for investors
- Growth of the company’s overall value
- Employee morale
Your decisions throughout the cycle will directly influence the outcome — so every choice matters.
To make these moments even more exciting, the review results are presented through a dynamic animated sequence. We hope it will keep you glued to the screen while waiting to see how the board judges your performance!
UI Style Update
We’ve also taken a step forward on the user interface, updating the visual style to better match our intended final look and feel.
It’s still evolving, but this update brings us much closer to the direction we want for the final game.
We Want Your Feedback!
What do you think about these changes?
Your feedback helps us shape the game, so feel free to share your thoughts in the comments. And if you’re interested in following development:
Wishlist the game and follow the page to stay updated on future devlogs, features, and announcements!
Thanks for being part of the journey. It means everything to us.
