Hello everyone,
This is a message to inform everyone about an issue that has recently come up concerning the Steam achievement integration for Waste Walkers.
Issue: Last week, the Steam beta branch had an update that would cause WW to crash each time a call was made to unlock an achivement. This week, Steam put that update to the standard branch. This causes WW to be fairly unplayable through Steam right now.
Work-around: All hope is NOT lost, you can still play WW but you have to run it from the game install directory which you can find by right clicking on WW in your library, select properties, local files tab, browse local files. In there, you'll see a game.exe. Run that if you want to play WW. You will NOT be able to unlock achievements at this time.
Solution: I am working closely with Steam staff right now to figure out a solution to the problem. I'll keep everyone updated.
