Hey Campers! 🏕️
To everyone who played the demo during Steam Next Fest, shared feedback, posted videos, and reported bugs, thank you so much. Your input helped us squash issues quickly and understand which parts of the game you enjoy most. The next step is bringing this foundation to Early Access and delivering a much better experience.
🎯 Timeline and Transparency
There is still a lot we want to build. To ship a satisfying amount of content with the polish it deserves, we need a bit more time. We are moving our release window from Q4 2025 to Q1 2026. Because development can be unpredictable, we prefer not to promise a specific month and day until we are fully confident. Thank you for understanding.
🗺️ Roadmap
You can review our detailed plans on the Steam page and in the Roadmap channel on Discord. It is a good snapshot of where Campsite Hustle is headed long term.
🤝 Co-op Plans
A frequently asked question: will there be co-op or multiplayer?
At Early Access launch, the game will be single-player. We are working on co-op and aim to release it about 5–6 months after Early Access. Our priority is to nail the core experience first. We appreciate your patience and support.
🔧 Key Development Pillars
🏗️ Build Mode
Many of you found large builds cumbersome. We are introducing a more practical top-down build system, inspired by life-sim workflows, so you can design your campsite on a larger scale with more comfort and control.
🛍️ Two Playstyles
Campsite Hustle actually offers two distinct management paths.
Outdoor store: Set up, expand, customize, and sell close to a hundred items.
Camp management: Build campsites, bungalows, showers, toilets, food stands, and more.
The demo gave a small taste of both. In Early Access, these paths will diverge into deeper mechanics. You can focus on one or run both in parallel. We are especially expanding the camp side. Structures can get dirty or break down, and when maintained properly, facilities become passive income sources.
🤖 Automation and Workers
One of our core pillars in Early Access. As your income grows, you can delegate tasks to staff:
Cashiers, cleaners, security, medical staff, and stand vendors that sell automatically. As your operation scales, you can lean back and enjoy the nature.
🚚 Hauling and Vehicles
We love that you loved hauling. You will be able to purchase more vehicles with different capacities. After Early Access, we plan to add vehicle customization options too.
🪧 Signs and Store Customization
The current sign system is basic. We plan to add multiple sign types, 3D font options, and small decorative elements so you can craft the perfect sign for your vibe.
For stores, expect four size tiers, different materials, and interior–exterior color and finish options to make it truly yours.
These are only the highlights. We will keep sharing progress with visual dev updates on both Discord and Steam.
You can support us by joining the Discord, following the Steam page, and adding Campsite Hustle to your wishlist.
