Thank You All <3
Big thanks to everyone who played the demo and sent us feedback. We read everything, and it's been a huge boost to morale. You've helped us look at the game from new angles, patch a bunch of bugs, and rebalance some tower defense systems. We're really happy with how it all went.
That being said, yep - there are still bugs and we’ll keep fixing them. We’ll also keep updating the demo whenever we add something we feel is a cool new feature or patch something major, but our main focus is moving forward with development.
What We're Building Next: Chapter 2
This phase will introduce all the main story ladies and their main quests. Each of them brings her own biome to the tower defense mode during night, along with their lieutenants. We’re trying to keep the story as nonlinear as possible, to cater to different kinds of pervy minds.
Sidequests, Events, and Freedom
There will be a lot of sidequests too. These are optional and can be done more or less anytime. Don’t feel like doing one? Just abandon it in your quest log so it doesn’t clutter things.
We’re also adding mini events and micro quests. These are small moments that’ll give temporary buffs or penalties, like bonus energy, higher damage for the night, or, perchance, boosted skill checks. Some are gonna be helpful, while others will be, let’s just say chaotic. Either way, they’re there to make you adapt or give you some ideas for planning ahead of time.
Adjustments to Dreamworld
Based on all your feedback, we rebalanced the tower defense, so it should be easier to progress through the current demo. We’re planning on adding some quality of life features to tower defense gameplay, many of which you suggested. This will likely be implemented in the full game, so don’t expect too much of it in the next demo update.
Dick Gobber’s Sex Shop is also getting some love. We’ll be adding new buildings and giving players the ability to level up their other stats as well as try out new combos during the TD mini game.
Through progressing you’ll raise Marty’s stats which will allow you a better degree of influence over the die rolls. At that point Marty will become a perfect, truly average man, and perhaps more.
Playtesting and Discord Stuff
We’re aiming to get all this into a playable state in the next several weeks. There’ll probably be a closed playtest first, so if you’re interested, join our Discord, because we’ll post updates on what you can expect.
We’re also planning community events where you’ll get to mess with our plans and leave your dirty fingerprints on the game.
That’s all we got for now. Thank you again for the outpour of support and all the feedback, it truly helps us make a better game for everyone.
Back to the dungeon.
