Hello everyone!
Welcome to the 3rd Onkelville times, it's been a while, the game has been out for a few months now!
First thing first, THANK YOU!
MATM has reached 25k downloads, this is crazy. I never thought this game would get any more than a few hundred.
I hope we can keep growing this game, and this upcoming announcement should help!
A few days ago...
Some people may have seen the post I made a few days ago. It may have been strange, a black image and something cryptic about fruit. It does have a meaning.
Go into photoshop and increase the saturation, or just keep reading, I have the same announcement lol.
THE DLC
I would like to announce the first DLC for MATM is coming soon TM (still in development)
The Mountain and the Rogue Uncle!
Yes! A rogue-like mode for MATM.
While I was working on this game, people talked about the game's perma death element a lot and kept comparing it to games like The Binding of Issac, and Risk of Rain 2. I always said that the game was never going to become a roguelike because the project was just not built around it. I still have no idea how someone would think a silly game about an uncle is like Risk of Rain.
Originally I was going to make another game, based off on a project I made for a CS class, in Java Script (same thing most websites use for buttons and the like). But that project did not really go anywhere.
Ah, yes, a slot machine
Maybe in the future, but I have other ideas >:)
But anyways, this DLC will also come with some smaller fixes here and there, but will mainly consist of a "chunk based map" and items that you collect to make your way to the top. It also will have some difficulties to change up the gameplay.

WIP inventory UI
I am super excited to show off some of the cool things the DLC adds. I also can't wait to see everyone's reaction to everything.
But there is one catch
The DLC will cost $1.99 USD
I don't know how else to say this, but because of the work on this project, and the potential to become sustainable making video games, I have to monetize this one. I priced it at $1.99 because it is about the cost of a soda, making it much easier to afford, and having the game be free makes it harder to monetize.
I can not wait to talk more about the DLC, so go ahead and wishlist it now! (even if you don't buy it, it helps out a LOT as steam recommends it to more people!)
-PS, beta testers can access a VERY WIP build in the beta branch right now!
See you at the top
