We're happy to report that a major team tournament in the format of 2x2, organised by ːcheatdiceːDarker and ːcheatdiceːIzmegul, has finished.
The tournament lasted more than a month – from February 26 through April 10 – and featured 26 teams with 52 players in total.
The teams played 91 sessions across 7 rounds – plus the semifinals and finals. The finals, structured as "best of 3", proved to be truly challenging!
The following Top 9 teams are awarded:
ːmaliceː GREMLINS PWNERS SQUAD (THEPWNER and Altruist)
ːmaliceː Dreadnought (Dabiz and Silence)
ːmaliceː Полный облом (Izmegul and DrBiker)
ːmaliceː Две легенды (GrekHek and Archer)
ːmaliceː ДрынТим* (DarkStyle and green_v)
ːmaliceː Call of Accelerator (tgaog and Marid)
ːmaliceː Nothing personal (Dread and ChiefMentor)
ːmaliceː Mechquake (Che and Thainlex)
ːmaliceː Alice Is Dead (Debaser and Foxy)
This tournament has been an amazing undertaking, and we thank Darker and Izmegul for putting their hearts and their time into making it happen! This tournament also proved that some of the best player experience in Gremlins, Inc. comes from team mechanics: the heights of planning and improvisation shown by players in the final sessions were truly incredible!
We look forward to supporting more tournaments of this type in the future!
