This week's update (arriving tomorrow) brings Team Mode as well as a few balancing changes (5 cards will be slightly adjusted). In order to test the new mode, we'll run a ːmaliceː Team Tournament ːmaliceː for 16 teams, each made of 2 players (or more, if we have more applications), based on the following rules:

REALLY IMPORTANT
* Please consider: the minimum number of sessions to win the tournament is 6, the maximum number is 11 (if you are sent to losers's brackets in the 1st round). This requires a certain commitment on the team's side! Please also note that there is a high chance of your team ending up with 2 frustrating losses, then dropping out (in fact, this is what will happen to 8 out of 32 teams).
* When do we start: we are going to start as soon as all the teams are registered, and not later than 15th of October in any case. You will need to adhere to the schedule, which as of now looks like this:
October 15 (Saturday): 1st round.
October 16 (Sunday): 2nd round in winners and losers brackets.
October 17: 3rd round in winners and losers brackets.
October 18: 4th round, losers brackets.
October 19: 4th round in winners brackets.
October 20: 5th round in losers brackets.
October 21: 5th round in winners (winners final) + 6th round in losers brackets.
October 22 (Saturday): 7th round, losers + 8 round in losers (losers final)
October 23 (Sunday): Grand-finale 1, Grand-finale 2 (if required).
Since the majority of players are from GMT +3 time zone, while others are from different areas, such as GMT +6 or even GMT -7, it may be required of you to play during rather inconvenient hours, such as late in the night or very early in the morning.
Sessions can last for up to 1.5 – 2 hours. Please consider this carefully! It is possible that you will have to play a session (or two, in rare cases) every day during the whole week. If you are not ready to commit to such requirements, it might be better to not enter or to leave the tournament before it kicks off.

(1) Make sure to subscribe to this thread (there is a button on upper right side) and check for notifications at least once a day.

Create your team (button in the right upper corner of your challonge account, it’s called Teams).
Add your teammate (he/she has to be registered at challenge, too. It is recommended to make him or her a captain too, so that they could enter results for your team as well).

After the tournament starts, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to contact your opponents and to agree on the time of your session – or to contact me (green_v) to help you to communicate with the Russian-speaking teams (I should be available from 7:00 GMT till 20:00 GMT during the tourney). After the session, one of the participants has to enter results in tournament site brackets (editting will become available AFTER the tournament is stared).
It is useful to enable notifications from challonge to your mail, so that you won’t miss things like your next opponent or a clarification of the rules. Ladies and gentlemen! There will be up to 64 people in the tournament, so I won’t be able to babysit everyone. I expect you to do everything by yourselves (which is not a lot, by the way – just register your team, play games, enter results and check for news).
