Hi, friends! We want to share some good news. A couple of wonderful people from Auster Translations, Milagros and Francisco, are helping us. Thanks to them, Deep Pixel Melancholy will soon speak one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, Latin American Spanish!
We also should mention that there's a chance we might not be able to add the translation by release. That's entirely our responsibility, since every text block has to be added manually because of the game's architecture. However, we'll do our best to have Latin American Spanish available at launch.
Stay tuned, and see you soon <3
P.S. Since the demo only supports two languages right now, we're not listing the new one on the Steam page yet so we don't mislead anyone. We'll do our best to update the demo as well, and after that we'll add the new language to the Steam page.
Translators' note:
Hi! Milagros and Francisco here. DPM has a wonderful story, and we are glad to take part in it so that more people can enjoy it. It's also a pleasure to work with the team behind DPM, who are passionate about their work and are committed to doing things properly. We are not some die-hard fans of AI; we are professional translators with college degrees and experience in the industry.
Making these kinds of handcrafted indie stories accessible to as many people as possible depends heavily on your support, so remember to wishlist and tell your friends about the game!
