All of the functionality for the crafting table, advanced crafting table, cooking pot, and forge are set up!
You can see in this demonstration that each player is able to see the items other players are putting into storage items, and they are able to take items out and put them in their own inventory.
This is all checked and performed on the server.
The forge takes and ore item and wood, or etc smeltable item and every 15 seconds produces a result item such as an iron ingot.
The cooking pot provides cooked food, in a similar fashion to how the forge works for smelted items.
The basic crafting table allows you to craft "stone age items", the advanced crafting table allows you to craft "iron age items", and you are able to craft basic wood and etc items on your player character.
